Meet The Team

Owner/ Head Groomer
Amanda Sauer
With over 10 years of professional experience grooming both dogs and cats, I bring skill, patience, and genuine care to every pet I work with. I am certified in Pet First Aid & Safety and regularly attend advanced grooming seminars to stay current with the latest techniques, safety standards, and breed-specific styling.
I previously owned and operated a successful dog grooming and pet retail shop in Toronto, which allowed me to build a strong foundation in both pet care and client service. After selling that business, I chose to pursue my dream of opening a salon here in Barrie, where I live and am proud to serve the local community.
My background also includes working as a veterinary assistant and dog trainer, giving me a well-rounded understanding of canine behavior, handling, and health. I strongly believe in the importance of a dog having one consistent groomer throughout their life—this continuity helps reduce stress, builds trust, and allows me to notice even subtle changes in a dog’s health or behavior.
I am honored to have received multiple industry awards recognizing my dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence in pet grooming.
Above all, I bring both the heart and expertise needed to provide a calm, safe, and positive grooming experience—for you and your beloved pets.

Certified Groomer -
Chantel Parent
My love for canine care is a lifelong passion that began in childhood, sharing my home and heart with dogs of all shapes and temperaments. This deep-rooted connection naturally evolved into my profession, where I combine that innate understanding with formal expertise. This trained an eye for balance, proportion, and aesthetic allows me to see and enhance the unique beauty in every dog, ensuring each cut is both functional and flattering.

I believe that calm is contagious. By working with patience and a steady hand many dogs feel completely at ease in my care. It’s not uncommon for my dogs to nod off while trimming their ears and snouts. My commitment to excellence is ongoing; I regularly attend advanced seminars to refine my techniques and stay current on the best practices in animal care, canine behavior and grooming techniques. For me, the work is about honoring the trust of our canine companions while delivering grooms that are practical for every day life.

As a certified Groomer who has 6 years experience, I'm committed to providing a calm grooming experience for not only your dog, but for you as well. Whether your dog is new to grooming or familiar with salons, each groom I do is approached with the understanding that every dog is different including its needs within the salon.
My grooming style focuses on patience, gentle handling, and working at your dogs pace. I prioritize comfort and safety throughout the groom while maintaining a clean environment with soft finishing touches to your dog's groom. I pay special attention to your dogs coat condition, skin health, and their physical state from start to finish.
Whether it be coat maintenance or a full haircut, including matted or impacted coats, every groom is completed with clear communication and respect for your dogs limits.
My goal is to not only have your dog leaving looking their best, but feeling confident with the trust we've built during their visit.
